ALLAN CADGENE
Mr. Cadgene has been active in real estate development
and real estate brokerage since 1974. He owns a San Francisco
commercial brokerage firm, Alimar Associates. Through Pacific
Investments Corporation, affiliated partnerships, and other
partnerships and joint ventures, Mr. Cadgene has participated
as a principal in the development, construction, and and/or
renovation of over 1,250,000 square feet of commercial space
and more than 1,500 residential units.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey in 1946, Mr. Cadgene has been a
San Francisco resident for over 20 years. Admitted to the California
Bar in 1972, he is also a Professor of Law at Golden Gate University
Law School where he teaches courses in Individual Income Tax,
Partnership Taxation, Corporate Tax, Real Estate Tax, Real Estate
Finance, and Real Estate Development.
He received his undergraduate education at Stanford University
graduating with highest honors in 1969 and his legal education
at Yale University Law School graduating in 1972. From 1972-1976,
he was associated with the San Francisco law firm of Orrick,
Herrington and Sutcliffe. He joined the Golden Gate University
Law School faculty in 1976. From 1981 to 1988, he served as
a consultant to General Atlantic Development Corporation participating
in the identification, acquisition, negotiation, and development
of projects totaling over $100,000,000 in San Francisco.
Currently, Mr. Cadgene is also engaged in a number of development
projects in Charlottesville, Virginia
